Next Wednesday, 17 April at 16h CEST, Mónica Bolufer Peruga will participate in the XVIII Seminar “La vida cotidiana en la España Moderna. Mujeres: poder, influencia, compromiso y utilidad” with the lecture “Maternidad y autoridad. Los consejos de María Josefa Tirry y Lacy, marquesa de Ureña”.
The seminar is organized by the research project PID2021-123444NB-I00: “Poderosas, influyentes, comprometidas y útiles. La vida de las mujeres en los espacios cortesanos, domésticos, económicos, políticos y culturales (España en el largo siglo XVIII)”, in collaboration with the Department of Modern and Contemporary History and the School of Geography and History of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). The seminar is also part of the Doctoral Program in History and Archaeology of the UCM and the Master’s and Doctoral Program in Gender Studies of the INSTIFEM-UCM.
The seminar will take place from 15 to 17 April in the “Salon de Grados” of the School of Geography and History of the UCM (Edif. B, Calle del Prof. Aranguren, s/n, Moncloa – Aravaca, 28040 Madrid). The sessions will also be streamed live.
