With Mónica Bolufer as keynote speaker and Laura Guinot
Next Friday, 23 June at 10:30 CEST, Mónica Bolufer Peruga will deliver the keynote lecture “El ‘proceso de civilización’ y el debate de los sexos. Tensiones y diálogos culturales”, in the framework of the XVII Scientific Meeting of the Fundación Española de Historia Moderna, session B3: Contrastes culturales y civilizatorios del Renacimiento a la Ilustración. In the same session and day, starting at 12:00 CEST, Laura Guinot Ferri will present her paper “La biblioteca de la marquesa de Dos Aguas: espacios de lectura y transmisión de los libros”.
This meeting will take place at the School of Letters of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), on 21, 22 and 23 June, 2023.
The scientific programme of the meeting is structured in two main thematic sections, devoted to the study of the transformations and continuities present in the Spanish Monarchy during the early modern period and the analysis of the social and cultural changes that shaped early modern Spain. Each section has four sessions.
