Both Carolina Blutrach and Laura Guinot Ferri have organized this seminar entitled “Mediación cultural en femenino. Bibliotecas, lecturas y correspondencia en el mundo iberoamericano, siglos XVII-XVIII“. Apart from their texts, we will count with the contributions of Mónica Bolufer Peruga, Natalia Maillard Álvarez and Gabriela Martínez Pérez, and we will discuss the role of women as cultural mediators through practices such as, for instance, library management, correspondence, news circulation or the participation in transnational sociability networks and spaces.
