With Isabel Burdiel
Next Thursday, 16 May at 12:00 p.m. (CEST), Isabel Burdiel will speak on ‘Decir por escrito lo que todo el mundo reconoce de palabra’: La mujer española de Emilia Pardo Bazán, at the International Conference “La mujer española. Usos políticos y culturales de un símbolo transnacional”.
The conference is organized by Xavier Andreu Miralles (University of Valencia) in collaboration with the research projects “Heroínas, castizas y modernas. Modelos de feminidad nacional y cultura de masas” (PID2021-128388NA-I00) and “Género y nación. De la literatura popular a la ficción televisiva en la España contemporánea” (CIAICO/2021/234).
The conference will be held on 16 and 17 May in the Salón de Grados of the School of Geography and History of the University of Valencia (Av. Blasco Ibáñez, 28. 46010 Valencia).
