Circulating Gender in the Global Enlightenment: Ideas, Networks, Agencies (CIRGEN)

With Laura GuinotThursday 19th May Laura Guinot and Elizabeth Treviño (UNAM) will participate in the IX Seminario Nuevas Aportaciones a la Historia Moderna Investigación, Fuentes y Método (9th Seminar New Approaches to Early Modern History. Research, Sources and Methodology), activity organised by the Early Modern History Area (UV) and addressed to students from the Master’s Degree in History and Identities in the Western Mediterranean (15th to 19th C.) and the Doctoral Programme in Geography and History of the Mediterranean from Prehistory to the Modern Age. The session, titled “Between Spain and Mexico. Sources for the study of women’s books”, will take place in a hybrid format from 16h to 19h (CET). Guinot and Treviño will analyse books, literature and women’s reading practices between 16th and 18th century.
